John Deering is a Managing Director and Partner of McColl Partners. He currently leads the firm’s Private Capital Raising Group. Previously, he was a Director, specializing in private capital raises for middle-market companies, with Wachovia Securities. Mr. Deering’s experience includes raising senior, mezzanine, and equity linked notes for growth-oriented companies in the retail, consumer products, business services, industrial, healthcare, and technology industries. Prior to Wachovia’s acquisition of Interstate/Johnson Lane, Mr. Deering was head of the Private Capital Advisory Group for IJL.

Mr. Deering was also a Vice President with Bank of America. Mr. Deering received a bachelor of science degree with a major in finance from Miami University of Ohio.
