Charlie Welch is a Director with McColl Partners whose primary focus is managing the firm’s Financial Institutions Group. Mr. Welch has spent his entire career in the banking industry, including over 15 years experience in bank mergers and acquisitions. Most recently, Mr. Welch was a Senior Vice President and the head of Corporate Strategy & Development for Huntington Bancshares, a bank with over $50 billion in assets based in Columbus, Ohio. Prior to Huntington, Mr. Welch was a Senior Vice President with Bank of America, where he worked for 20 years. During most of his career with Bank of America and its predecessors, Mr. Welch was responsible for identifying, valuing, structuring, and negotiating acquisitions and divestitures. These transactions varied in size from large transformational acquisitions to small bank and related financial services transactions.
Mr. Welch received a bachelor of arts degree with a major in finance from Emory University.
